He's been hopping around our yard for the past few days. His mom was still feeding him today, hovering nearby and dive bombing my head when she felt that I was getting too close. 
I'm trying very, very hard to embrace the whole "cycle of life" concept, and the possibility that he won't survive!

If you give up on that, raw hamburger works.
If there's a next time, I'm going to give hamburger/water in an eye dropper a whirl. But this little guy didn't make it through the night:(
